Talk is Free Theatre strives to expand the education of artists and the community on the art and business of theatre through a broad range of outreach programs, which include:
Small Talk, a youth mentorship program which allows high school students to shadow a theatre professional for six months and then spend the summer months creating and performing an original play.
- Artists in the Classroom
- Bring your Parents to the Theatre
- March Break and Summer camps for children ages six to fourteen.
- Performances in regional schools.
- Conducting an ongoing series of workshops for performers and aspiring performers led by some of Canada 's finest professional theatre experts on the skills necessary to succeed in theatre.
